At Gindi Capital we take a hands-on, relationship-focused approach to real estate, echoing the entrepreneurial spirit of our founders. That spirit infuses our work with a blend of precision and creativity, enabling us to navigate the complexities of the real estate landscape. We believe in the power of long-term partnerships. Our commitment to nurturing relationships has been the foundation of our success, allowing us to create thriving environments that stand the test of time.
Gindi Capital, a prominent family-owned investment firm based in New York City, stands at the forefront of real estate. Established by brothers Eli and Jeffrey Gindi, our firm proudly carries forward a rich New York legacy spanning decades. With a forward-thinking approach, we specialize in identifying and revitalizing underutilized retail, multifamily, and mixed-use spaces across the nation’s premier commercial markets.

The family’s legacy begins with its patriarch Ralph Gindi, who, after years of running childrenswear stores, co-founded Century 21 department stores in 1961. The family sold its shares in the business in 1998 and embarked on their next chapter: a bold foray into the world of real estate.

As native New Yorkers, the natural launching place for Gindi Capital’s foray into real estate was New York. Beginning with 15 West 34th Street and 609 5th Avenue and continuing through to our latest ventures at 655 Union and Gramercy Park, we continue to secure new business while deepening our roots in the city we call home.

Applying the same critical thinking of acquiring real estate in high-traffic areas brought Gindi Capital into the Miami market through an acquisition of the Versace mansion and neighboring hotels, The Breakwater, The Edison, and The Victor.

The engagements in Miami provided opportunity for Gindi Capital to land in Vegas. Now known as Showcase, the property was equated to an area like Times Square in 1970, ripe with opportunity. Through a series of investments and strategic tenant leasing, Gindi Capital has made its mark on the Strip. This success set the stage for continued development in the market. With a keen understanding of the gaps and opportunities, Gindi Capital embarked on developing a transformative project to bring more elevated tenants to the Strip. BLVD, the largest standalone retail destination and entertainment-fueled environment on the Strip, did just that. With 700 feet of double-height footage and 100,000 feet of rooftop dining and entertainment space, retailers flocked to sign leases at BLVD, knowing that this new hub would be brimming with people excited about a first-of-its-kind destination in Vegas.
Gindi Capital brings three generations of experience crafting exceptional places that excite consumers and retailers alike. Each generation building on the legacy, while also remaining committed to a fresh perspective in real estate.
